Reese Witherspoon gets in some relaxing family time during Labor Day weekend on Sunday (September 5) in Ojai, Calif.

The 34-year-old actress was accompanied by her boyfriend, Hollywood agent Jim Toth, and her two kids, Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6.

Jim and the kids were seen shopping for antiques — Ava picked up a painting, Deacon got a Schlitz Beer Tray, and Jim picked up a wooden box.

Reese’s ex Ryan Phillippe has been in Puerto Rico for the Hollywood Domino Gala & Tournament.

While looking for work he runs workshops that help other unemployed people jump-start their careers.

“I closed a 15-year-old equipment leasing company in late 2008 because of changes in banking appetites. Banks quit lending, and since we acted as a broker for our 3,000 customers, our business went down approximately 75 percent. Add to that the cost of operating a business building, health care for my employees and the increasing write-offs from my own customers and I was forced to close and lay off my four remaining employees. Personal guarantees on my business credit forced me into a personal bankruptcy and I started searching for work at age 58.

Three years ago we were “upper-middle” class and had been there for 25 years. I had grown up in a lower-middle class family, where my father was a mail carrier and my mother worked part-time and raised the kids. I was the first in our family to get a college degree, and I had to finance it on my own. My two kids were the second and third in the family to get college degrees. Today, we have almost no income, so I guess that makes us “lower-class.”

Reese Witherspoon and her boyfriend, Jim Toth, take Reese’s little ones, Ava and Deacon, out to brunch on Sunday (August 29) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old actress held hands with her beau, and the two shared a laugh at a text that Jim got as they were walking along.

Earlier this month, the actress’ rep denied reports that there were wedding bells on the way for Reese and Jim. The two are “both happy with the way things are,” her rep said, but wedding rumors are “not true.”

The 41-year-old rocker and her kids’ nanny brought the boys inside – looks like Kingston was so excited to visit, he ran to the house.

After Elin Nordegren spoke out after her divorce this morning, Tiger Woods has also discussed how he feels.

“I wish her the best in everything,” Tiger, 34, said at a press conference on Wednesday in New Jersey (via People). “It’s a sad time in our lives. And we’re looking forward to how we can help our kids the best way we possibly can. And that’s the most important thing.”

As for whether or not he’s relieved, Tiger shared, “I don’t think that’s the word. I think it’s just more sadness. Because I don’t think you ever – you don’t ever go into a marriage looking to get divorced. That’s the thing. That’s why it is sad.”

“My actions certainly led us to this decision,” Tiger added. “And I’ve certainly made a lot of errors in my life and that’s something I’m going to have to live with.”

LAS VEGAS — A 22-year-old Mexico woman has won the Miss Universe pageant after donning a flowing red gown and telling an audience it’s important to teach kids family values.

Jimena Navarrete of Guadalajara was first to answer an interview question Monday night and the last of 83 contestants standing in the headline-grabbing pageant on the Las Vegas Strip.

Her one-strap gown flowed behind her like a sheet as she walked. Earlier, she smiled in a violet bikini as she confidently strutted across the stage.

Asked by Olympic gold-medal figure skater Evan Lysacek how she felt about unsupervised Internet use, Navarrete said the Internet is important but parents need to be careful and watch over their kids.

“I do believe that Internet is an indispensable, necessary tool for the present time,” she said through an interpreter. “We must be sure to teach them the values that we learned as a family.”

First runner-up was Miss Jamaica Yendi Phillipps, while second runner-up was Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell.

Navarrete is Mexico’s second Miss Universe; Lupita Jones of Mexico won the title in 1991. Navarrete replaces Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela.

Navarrete’s win thwarted Miss Venezuela Marelisa Gibson from giving the South American country a third consecutive win. Neither Gibson nor Miss USA Rima Fakih made the top 15 finalists.

Navarrete won a package of prizes including an undisclosed salary, a luxury New York apartment with living expenses, a one-year scholarship to the New York Film Academy with housing after her reign, plus jewelry, clothes and shoes fit for a beauty champion.

Campbell won the Miss Congeniality Universe award. Miss Thailand Fonthip Watcharatrakul won Miss Photogenic Universe and a second award for having the best national costume.
