The single, off the band’s second album, Waking Up, features footage from the new Disney film with Nicolas Cage in this new version of the video.
“[The song and The Sorcerer's Apprentice] was kind of a perfect match!” the guys dished in a video linked on their Twitter account.
“They showed us some scenes with the song in it and it’s always kind of emotional when you see your song involved with a scene. A lot of our music is orchestral and we put our hearts into it, so it really kind of has a cinematic feel. To see with in the scenes in the movie was incredible.”

The 46-year-old actor plays a master sorcerer who recruits an everyday guy, played by Jay Baruchel, to fight an arch-nemesis. The role was something Nic always wanted to play.
“I would spend a lot of time in the backyard and pretend that I was a wizard,” Nicolas told NBC. “I really loved the idea of casting spells. I think I must have willed this movie to happen because I get to finally play a wizard. It just fell in my lap. Magically.”
